Asian
treasures, founded in 1998, is based in Denver with affiliates in Hong Kong
and China. Asian Treasures features a unique collection of authentic, fine
quality and unusual 18th and 19th century antique Chinese furniture and accessories.
Each item is individually selected and carefully refinished in China before
being shipped to the US.
The collection includes chairs, wedding cabinets, side tables, altar tables,
chests of wood lacquer and leather, and an unusual assortment of accessories
such as boxes, containers and baskets. Whenever possible, the original
hardware and finish is maintained. Asian Treasures provides information
about origin of each individually
selected piece. Most
of the furniture originates from either Shanxi or Zheijang Provinces in
China. We also carry some pieces from Tibet.
The pieces you see represented here are examples of those we either have in stock or have recently sold. If you wish to view our fine selection in person you can visit us at the World Wide Antique Show in Denver, Colorado in late March and late October of every year. In addition, we have a space at The Collection, a design mall located at 899 Broadway in Denver.
